AVC RESULTS -
AVC PHOTO LINKS
Just a reminder
about the Saturday Morning Beginner
Session. The purpose of the Saturday
morning sessions is to teach
the basics of track riding. It
is not a racing session or a
serious training session. However,
a minimal amount of fitness is
necessary to complete some of
the drills.
Highlights for June
- Beat
the Clock and Help Beat Cancer will be back at Hellyer on July
5th after last year's phenomenal
success.
This is one of the rare occasions
where road bikes are allowed on
the track. So if you don't have
a track bike and don't want to
rent one, try out the track with
your own road bike. Real trackies
are welcome too, of course. No
worries, track and road bikes will
not be on the track at the same
time. For more info go HERE
- Monday beginner instruction on
velodrome rules, racing, safety
etiquette, and more. Sessions
focus on low-intensity practice
and increased lecture/discussion.
