SportVelo Structured Endurance Training

When: 8:00a – 11:30a

Who: Cat 3 riders and above, or with the approval of the supervisor

Workout Focus: These sessions are structured workouts for the advanced endurance track racer ( Cat 3 riders and above, or the approval of the supervisor) who is planning to race mass start races (Points, Scratch, Miss-n-Out, and Madison) as well as endurance timed events: Pursuit and Team Pursuit at Masters and Elite Districts, and/or Nationals. The sessions will be periodized to progress as racers prep for these events. This three-hour session will have endurance series riders on the track for most of the session.

  • Non-program riders will be expected to perform their workouts during the downtime of the scheduled session.

  • No rental bikes available (some rare exceptions ie. experienced, out of town rider) 

  • Motor pacing per the current motor pacing rules

  • Rain or wet track cancels the sessions.

Cost: $5 Adults (Season Pass Applicable), $0 Juniors. $6 for parking.

Required: County of Santa Clara Park & Rec & NCVA Waiver. Must be on-file or handed in at each session.
