Women’s Track – Racing and Training
There are several opportunities for women-focused training at Hellyer.
- “Women Take Over Saturday Beginner Sessions” are organized regularly.
- The Women’s Track Race Training Series (promoted by San Jose Bicycle Club Women’s Team) introduces women to racing on the track in a fun, non-intimidating environment. Each session focuses on specific skills to help riders learn the different disciplines of track cycling.
- Women-specific fields on regular race nights during the season are available when there are 10 or more women racing
